Walking football is a fun way of exercising, socialising and enjoying the beautiful game, at any age! Whether you’re an ex-footballer or new to the sport and would like to come and have a go, Walking Football is suitable for any level of ability or experience. ‘Wildcats’ Girls Football Training @ Rothery Field

The club would love to welcome any new players to its Wildcats section which caters for five to 11 year olds, with new recruits for the under-nine team especially needed with a busy schedule of tournaments expected over the next few months.

The club is also keen to attract older girls looking to try football for the first time as it launches a new under-14 team for next season.

Training takes place at Rothery Field on Nep Town Road on Wednesday evenings with Wildcats from 4.45pm and older age groups from 6pm. For more information please email henfieldfcgirls@gmail.com

Wonderfully decorated trees from local businesses, charities and children from St Peter’s School.

Come and experience the wonder of Christmas with this dazzling display of truly unique and creative trees, you can enjoy hot drinks and refreshments from Post House Cafe across the road.

The Christmas Tree Festival will be open on Friday 10 December from 5-9pm and on Saturday 11 December it will be open 9am-12pm and 5-7pm at Henfield Evangelical Free Church. We are planning a special visit from Spooky (the Swain’s donkey) on the Friday night.
