In the 19th Century photography struggled for recognition as an artistic medium on a par with painting but it became the dominant visual medium of the early 20th century. This lecture considers a range of great images from the likes of Cartier-Bresson, Weegee and Robert Capa produced since 1900.

Backstage Farce: A PG Players Production @ Partridge Green Village Hall
Nov 24 @ 7:00 pm

Backstage Farce

Now that we are hopefully over the worst of Covid 19 Partridge Green Players are excited to announce that they are back in action and planning their next production – Backstage Farce by Steve Barker. The play is a comedy about an amateur dramatics group getting ready for their first night of ‘A Bit of Slap and Tickle’, needless to say things don’t go well and its pretty much a disaster! However we are sure it will be a real laugh and a fun night out for everyone!

Making their debut as a Director will be Roz Richardson, although she has performed on stage many times, and she will be joined by Angie Barrett. Enjoying their acting debut is Cat Booker, one of our newest (and youngest) members. Performances will be at Partridge Green Village Hall on 24 – 27 November, and tickets will be on sale from September.

Tickets will be £5 each for Wednesday and £8 each for Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances. They will be available from info@pgplayers.org or call 07882254964, or call in at Louisa Jayne Hairdressers or The Partridge pub (both in Partridge Green)The Players very much look forward to welcoming you all back.
