BBC Gardeners’ Question Time @ Henfield Hall
Oct 31 @ 6:15 pm

The celebrated panel of gardening experts will be tackling the questions put to them by local gardening enthusiasts.

Gardeners’ Question Time is a Radio 4 institution, attracting over 2 million listeners a week. Recorded in a different location each week, this long-standing radio programme has answered well over 30,000 questions since its inception in 1947.

The panel members have been guests of a diverse range of gardening clubs and other organisations; including the top of Snowdon and 10 Downing Street.

The panel NEVER see the questions before the recording. Their encyclopaedic, seemingly effortless answers are completely spontaneous and reveal their huge experience and depth of gardening knowledge. Being on the GQT panel is not for the faint hearted!

Doors open at 5.30pm.

PG Open Gardens @ All around Partridge Green
Jun 15 @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

This ever popular village event is in its 8th year and has so far raised over £15000 for various charities.

We are so excited about our 24 gardens which are opening this year, 3 of them are new! Each garden will have a charity box so any donations will be gratefully received.

It is also a chance to see the beautiful designs, compact plots, allotments, hidden jewels and favourites from last year. Many of them will be serving refreshments and lovely homemade treats.

The Scarecrow trail is now a big part of the Village walkabout weekend as you go from garden to garden.

The leaflets with all the information will be available on the day from Bluebells Day Nursery situated next to Jolesfield Primary School, Littleworth Lane, RH13 8JE and the Village Hall. Copies will also be in the village shops and will be delivered to all houses in the Partridge Green and Dial Post Newsletter.

The No.16 Southdown bus covers most of the route. Parking is available next to the Village Hall and there are plenty of comfort stops along the way.
