Hear to Listen – Anxiety Workshop @ Henfield Medical Centre

Over the past eighteen months I have seen a steady increase in clients who present with anxiety. Because of this, and the increased pressure on available resources, I have offered to run a workshop/talk to help people learn more about it. This workshop will benefit those suffering with anxiety and those who are supporting them. Numbers will be limited so please book you place by emailing or texting me.

Living with Cancer @ Henfield Haven

If you are living with cancer, or care for someone living with cancer, then this event is for you. The speakers will be Dr Joanna Thomson, Cancer Lead and Macmillan GP with Coastal West Sussex and Henfield’s Dr Cheryl Lambe, who will talk about breast cancer care and treatment. There will be an opportunity for discussion with our clinicians and with others who share your experience – a support specialist from Macmillan will also be there with relevant information and literature.

Mobility Scooter Skills & Safety Session @ Henfield Haven

Following last year’s success, another session will be provided by Horsham District Older Peoples Forum and Horsham Town Community Partnership. You are welcome to attend whether you are thinking of buying a scooter or are an experienced driver. You will have a couple of hours finding out how to be safer on your scooter, with hints and tips on cornering, turns, kerbs, doorways, slopes and reversing.
