The Band of Ringers, known as the “Band”, is the group who rings the church bells of St Peter’s in Henfield. We practice on a Wednesday evening and ring for the Sunday morning services, also for special occasions, weddings and national celebrations. If you are interested in learning to ring and making  new friends, we always welcome new ringers, come along on a Wednesday  or contact Alison.

Fulking Messy Church @ Fulking Village Hall
Sep 20 @ 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Your children or grandchildren will have a great time doing lots of different crafts. Some of which are Messy! They will have a chance to play together, make new friends, and have fun whilst learning about stories from the Bible. They will also get a delicious supper. This Messy Church is run by volunteers from the Downland Benifice of Pyecombe, Poynings, New Timber, and Edburton churches. Do come and give it a go.

Mozart’s Requiem @ St Peter's Church
Nov 9 @ 1:30 pm – 7:00 pm

As part of Henfield’s Remembrance events, there will be a rehearsal and performance of Mozart’s Requiem in St Peter’s Church, Henfield. If you enjoy singing and know Mozart’s Requiem, come and join the choir. Please bring your own music if you have it, but scores will also be available to borrow. We will rehearse from 1.30pm, followed by tea from 4pm. Audience members may arrive for the tea. The performance will be at 5pm. Sidonie Winter will rehearse and conduct this performance, with organ and professional soloists Paula O’Sullivan, Rosemary McIntosh, Robert Burt and Mark Beesley.

All profits will go to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Tickets available 7 October onwards from Marcus Grimes, Coopers Way, Henfield.
