Edge to Edge is part of the Horsham District Year of Culture initiative for 2019, led by artist and facilitator Luna Russell in partnership with Parish churches. The project aims to bring together adults over four weekly sessions to celebrate community, craft and local heritage.  Come along to design and hand stitch bunting flags with imagery and words inspired by your area and the changing seasons

  • All materials are provided
  • Relax over tea and cake as you share sewing tips and take something home to make for yourself each week

Following the workshops, Luna will create a central flag for each set of bunting made from reclaimed copper from the roof of Chichester Cathedral, which is currently being replaced as part of a restoration project. The design of the copper flag will be inspired by the workshops and the people taking part.  St Peter’s Church will keep their final set of bunting to use at future community events.
