Steyning Bookshop Welcomes Tessa Hadley @ Gluck Studio
Feb 19 @ 7:30 pm

We are very excited to welcome the acclaimed novelist Tessa Hadley to Steyning for the first time! Tessa Hadley has been called “literary fiction’s best kept secret”. She is the author of six highly praised novels including ‘A Clever Girl’, and ‘The Past’, as well as two collections of short stories. Tessa will be speaking about her new book ‘Late in the Day’, a darkly intricate novel which explores what happens when the 30-year bond between a quartet of close friends comes unglued, after one of them dies unexpectedly. A rare chance to hear one of the most respected voices in British literary fiction, who just keeps going from strength to strength. Tickets are £10 with a voucher towards the new novel just out in hardback. Advance booking recommended.
