Henfield Bump to Baby Postnatal Group @ Henfield Haven

The free village bump to baby postnatal group drop-in sessions will take place at the Henfield Haven Garden Room from 9.30-11.30am. These will be specifically for new parents (i.e. parents of pre-crawling babies) and the sessions will provide support and an opportunity to socialise as well as the chance to weigh babies. There will be free tea/coffee and biscuits available (although donations will be welcome) and parents will be able to purchase additional food and drink from the Haven Café. The sessions will be run by experienced volunteers.

Henfield Computer Club @ Henfield Hall

The Henfield Computer Club meet every Wednesday. Whether you’re an existing member or someone wishing to join, we look forward to welcoming you. If you have some idea of the help you require, please email us beforehand.

We would also welcome new mentors to help our novices and improvers. There is no obligation to attend every week and you don’t need to be an expert. If you have some experience you can offer to others, be it with Windows, Mac or Androids please pop in on a Wednesday or email us.

‘Wildcats’ Girls Football Training @ Rothery Field

The club would love to welcome any new players to its Wildcats section which caters for five to 11 year olds, with new recruits for the under-nine team especially needed with a busy schedule of tournaments expected over the next few months.

The club is also keen to attract older girls looking to try football for the first time as it launches a new girls football under-14 team for next season.

Training takes place at Rothery Field on Nep Town Road on Wednesday evenings with Wildcats from 4.45pm and older age groups from 6pm. For more information please email henfieldfcgirls@gmail.com

OuiBead

OuiBead are a small group of enthusiastic beaders. We teach all techniques relating to bead weaving and wire work, making a range of beautiful jewellery; from earrings to necklaces, bracelets and more.  We teach how to make various patterns using a range of materials associated with bead weaving.

The charge for classes usually £10 per session, which is payable upon attendance. There will also be a small additional cost for materials.

It’s fun and absorbing!

Henfield Bump to Baby Antenatal Class @ Henfield Haven

Henfield Bump to Baby Antenatal Class

New free antenatal classes for up to 10 women. Pre-booking only. Organised by Henfield Community Partnership.

Village antenatal classes will be held at the Henfield Haven on Thursday evenings from 7-9pm for up to 10 women (over 28 weeks of pregnancy) and their partners. There will be four sessions over the course of four weeks, starting on the 21st July. Run by a practicing and experienced midwife, there will be the opportunity to meet other parents to-be and free tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided. The information covered in the course will be consistent and evidence based and will include: What to expect in labour and birth; C-section births, forceps, ventouse delivery and pain relief; going home with baby, breast feeding and formula feeding.

Join us at the Henfield Wild Violets WI for this month’s meeting!

Henfield Wild Violets WI aims to give local women the opportunity to meet and make new friends, to help broaden horizons by introducing new skills and challenges through various activities and speakers. We have outings to places of interest and to the theatre. The aim is to make it fun, enjoyable and to do our best to be inclusive and give everyone a chance to contribute. Following our monthly meetings we serve an optional light lunch to enable members to chat and socialise. Our meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of every month, starting at 9:45am.

‘The Gadgeteers’ – Summer Reading Challenge @ Henfield Library

Book Nook – Book Shop in Fulking @ The Chapel, Fulking

Our Book Shop the ‘Book Nook’ is situated in the old chapel in the centre of Fulking Village
