Henfield Brownies enjoy lots of fun activities including: cooking, crafts, canoeing, sailing, challenges, games, day trips, adventures, camping and international opportunities. There are two Henfield Brownie units and we currently have spaces on a Tuesday for girls aged 7-10. To register your daughter please visit https://enquiryym.girlguiding.org.uk/
Are you 18 or over and wishing you could do all this too? You can! We need help at Rainbows, Brownies and Guides to keep providing these opportunities. Whether you used to be a part of Brownies, Guides or have no experience of Guiding, it doesn’t matter, please come and join us.
Girlguiding has a long history in Henfield: the first Guide unit was set up in 1917, followed by Brownies in 1918, Rangers in 1921 and Rainbows in 1988. But things have changed enormously over the years and Girlguiding is constantly updating and adapting their programmes to make them relevant to todays’ girls and young women. Where once girls might have been encouraged to learn how to cook and clean, now they are learning about things such as recycling, inventing, digital design, mixology and vlogging!
