We have a successful Beaver Colony (Fridays 5.45-6.45pm) . The Colony runs a varied and active programme during the week in term time and also enjoy getting out and about whenever possible at other times. Beavers are boys and girls aged from 6 to 8 years old.
The Cub Scouts (often shortened to Cubs) is open to 8-10½ year olds (Thursdays 6.45-8.15pm). This section follows on from the Beaver Colony and Cubs will move onto the Scout Troop at the age of 10½. We have a variety of meetings, with a range of activities, events and experiences built around 6 programme zones. Each zone represents a different development area in a young person’s life. There are six programme zones in Cub Scouting. They are Beliefs and Attitudes, Community, Fitness, Creative, Global, Outdoor and Adventure.
The Scout section is for young people aged 10.5 to 14 years of age (Fridays 7-8.30pm).
