Dog in the Country Grooming & Spa is located in the heart of the West Sussex countryside at Hascombe Farm Equestrian Centre, a 4 minute drive (2.2 miles) from Henfield High Street, opening officially in Spring 2024.
Founded by Chessie, a profound animal lover, Dog in the Country Grooming & Spa offers professional and compassionate 1-to-1 dog grooming services and spa treatments tailored to your pet's needs during every appointment.
All breeds are welcome here at Dog in the Country, with all appointments offering ample cuddle breaks.
Having completed her City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming in 2020, Chessie has worked in both corporate and independent dog grooming salons, gaining invaluable experience within the industry. Having found her passion for dogs whilst managing boarding kennels, Chessie has also cared for horses, farm animals, small mammals & reptiles, with one of her most fulfilling roles volunteering as a Wildlife Rescuer for East Sussex WRAS. Additionally, she has obtained FdSc Animal Behaviour & Welfare, and Level 3 Animal Management qualifications. You can rest assured your pets will be in safe and caring hands.

A friendly reminder to please be mindful of horses, as we are based at the equestrian centre, so please ensure that your dogs are kept on-lead during drop-off and collection.
