Henfield & District Lions Club

The Henfield & District Lions Club are a very friendly and welcoming group of people who live in Henfield and the surrounding villages.

We raise money for good causes, locally and further afield. Also, we meet socially as a group, enjoying events such as local informal meals out together, skittles evenings, picnics, or just enjoying a chat and a drink in a local pub.

All members agree that it is a very positive feeling to be able to help others, to ‘give something back’ – as a Club, our aim is to raise money to help others who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Part of our monthly Business Meeting is spent thinking of  activities which will generate some funds for us to donate: then we arrange the activities such as quiz nights, jumble sales, race nights, street collections etc. and donate the profits to good causes. Fundraising activities are enjoyable because we have an informal, friendly atmosphere in the Club.
