The Henfield Conservation Volunteers have been working for over 15 years maintaining and improving the wonderful natural habitats found within the confines of the Parish. Activity is primarily on the three Common areas, namely Henfield, Broadmare and Oreham, together with projects in the Tanyard and around Danny’s Pond. We maintain and improve hedgerows, many ponds and streams, coppicing in the woodlands and removing invasive and often foreign species of plants. We normally work on one Sunday each month, but can add extra work schedules if necessary. These are rewarding sessions, with plenty of fresh air, exercise and good company. We are in need of more vounteers, so do contact us for further details. See our Facebook Page for up to date information.
