The Henfield Conservation Volunteers have been working for over 15 years maintaining and improving the wonderful natural habitats found within the confines of the Parish. Activity is primarily on the three Common areas, namely Henfield, Broadmare and Oreham, together with projects in the Tanyard and around Danny’s Pond. We maintain and improve hedgerows, many ponds and streams, coppicing in the woodlands and removing invasive and often foreign species of plants. We normally work on one Sunday each month, but can add extra work schedules if necessary. New volunteers are always required and most welcome.
